This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Cubs and their leaders to sleep in Chester Cathedral under the famous GAIA.
The artwork globe is being installed in the Cathedral in February and Cub Scouts in Cheshire have an opportunity to experience it at close quarters!
GAIA is a touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram. Measuring seven metres in diameter and created from 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface, the artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet floating in three dimensions.
